Catedral de Sons (The Cathedral of Sounds)
A season of performances in the Cathedral of Leiria, held between November 2007 and June 2008. Very experimental proposals that traveled between poetry, music and dance around the Great Organ that celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2007. They took place every 4th Thursday of the month and were the scene for some innovative and surprising experiences related to the use of that historical instrument of western churches, and to the acoustics, light, aromas, and temperatures characteristic of the great temples.
Main Goal
Celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Great Organ of the Cathedral of Leiria with a variety of contemporary artistic propositions, where music, dance, spirituality, poetry and celebration are intertwined.
