She graduated in Architecture from the Faculty of Architecture of the Technical University of Lisbon and has a Masters in Theatre Studies from the School of Arts and Humanities of the University of Lisbon. She is currently attending a PhD program in that University and researching the scenic experience in contemporary times.
She is a contemporary art mediator for several entities including the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation and the Berardo Collection Museum of Contemporary Art and directs and conceives several artistic activities, courses and trainings. She has a regular creative activity in performing arts, having worked on more than 35 scenic and exhibition spaces. She recently coordinated the Performative Space section of the Official Portuguese Representation at the Prague Quadrennial, is the co-founder of three theatre companies and a member of the Board of APCEN – the Portuguese Association of Scenography. She has been the scenographer and costume designer of Musicalmente since its foundation.
